Joseph "Joey" A. Sellars

Joseph “Joey” Sellars, 39 of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2025, at his residence.

Joey was born in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late James Michael Sellars Sr. and Beth Ann Sellars. He enjoyed video gaming and listening to his music.

He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Jesika Sellars; 4 children: Jaquan Sellars, Jazzynn Sellars, Aliza Sellars, DeLaney Sellars; 4 stepchildren: Chloe Roe, Zoey Roe, Raelynn Roe, Farrah Roe; brother, James Sellars Jr.; aunt, Becky Sellars; cousin, Zach Johnson; special dog, Scooby.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Julie Sellars.

Calling hours will be held Friday June 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will begin at 3:00 PM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. A dignified cremation will take place following services.
