John A. Storey

John A. Storey, 92 of Zanesville, passed away on February 10, 2025, at Cedar Hill Care Center of Zanesville.

He was born on March 26, 1932, in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Jack D. Storey and Eleanor Baker. John was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, as well as the United States Navy, serving from 1950-1959. He worked at Owens Illinois for over 37 years, where he retired. John was an avid golfer and bowler.

John is survived by his 4 children: Jacqueline (Bill) Dockery, Pamela Daniel, John (Tricia) Sartori, Joe Storey; brother, Michael Storey; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Rosemary (Murphy) Storey; brother, Danny Storey; sister, Evelynn Pagura; grandson, Jerry Daniel Jr.; son-in-law, Jerry Daniel; and mother-in-law, Lucille Storey.

Per John’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A dignified cremation will take place.
