John E. Freeman, 63, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away on February 27, 2026, at Enclave Nursing Home in Cambridge, Ohio.
He was born on April 5, 1962, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Donald R. Freeman Sr. and Bonnie (Linscott) Freeman. Johnny liked hot rods, music, and garage hangs. He enjoyed his Putnam Tavern friends and his beloved dog, Beethoven.
Johnny is survived by his 3 daughters: Tiffany Hopper, Christina Hopper, and Amanda (Freeman) Roush; grandchildren, Kadeem Jr. and Kayonna Royer, Timothy Rushing Jr., Mason Rushing, Hayden Rushing, Zander Roush, Paisley Roush; nephew, David Freeman; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 3 brothers: Donald Freeman Jr., Carl Freeman, and David Freeman Sr.
A dignified cremation has been entrusted to DeLong-Baker & Lanning following services.
