JoAnn M Kelly

JoAnn M. Kelly, 84 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on July 19, 2023, at The Oaks of Northpointe in Zanesville.

She was born on October 27, 1938, daughter of the late Lawrence William McDonald, Virginia (Coverly) and Emil Torquato. JoAnn was an avid church goer, and she had many crafting hobbies. Her favorite past time was adult coloring. Anyone she met; she considered a friend.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Jeff) Kokensparger , Eileen (Doyle) Wolters, James (Cheryl) Swinehart , Noretta Angstead, Jeffrey Kelly, Colleen Kelly; brother, Michael (Betty) McDonald of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Jason Kokensparger, Jared Kokensparger, Raechell Wolters, Erika Wolters, Joseph Wolters, Heidi Swinehart, Christopher Swinehart, Bryce Johnson, Tiffany Kelly, Ashley Shaw, Adam Shaw; many great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and her friends at The Oaks.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ronald Kelly; 1st husband, Ronald Swinehart; sister, Connie McDonald; several aunts and uncles.

Per JoAnn’s wishes, a dignified cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
