Jerry Lynn Davis

Jerry L. Davis, 75 of Zanesville, passed away peaceably of natural causes at his residence . Jerry was born May 3rd 1945 in Coushatta, Louisiana the son of the late Richard L. Davis and Mary F. Cason Davis.

Mr. Davis for many years was a newspaper carrier and was previously employed at Lumi-Lite Candle factory in Norwich.

Jerry had studied Photojournalism at MATC and earned an associate-degree at Zane State College in law enforcement and was a self- taught martial arts student he was also an avid student of the Bible and was a devout Christian.

In addition to his parents Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers Robin & Gary Davis.

Jerry is survived by his sisters Phyllis Davis of Dayton , Ohio and Karen Holbein of Zanesville, Ohio and by many nieces and nephews and loved them all.

Jerry had a love of nature and felt at peace in the woods and among the birds and animals of nature.

Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time.
