Jeff Lee Roberts

Jeff “Dirty Red” Roberts, 49 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on February 17, 2023, at OSU Wexner Center in Columbus, Ohio. Jeff gave the gift of life by being an organ donor.

He was born on April 19, 1973, in Zanesville, Ohio, resident of Kingston, Ohio, son of the late Roy “Simmy” Sims and Bernadine (Colvin) Sims. Jeff worked in transportation for Circleville Post-Acute for many years. In his spare time, he loved cruising on his motorcycle. 420 was his best hour.  His genuine personality will be missed by ALL of those he came into contact with.

He is survived by his sisters, Jodie White, Teresa White, Mary (Mike) Paxton, Kathy Shaffer; brother, Scott White; niece/sister, Kelley Jones; grandchildren, Remington Haga, Autumn Haga, Alana Lunn; stepdaughter, Nikki Lunn; best friend and brother since 1984, Dan “BIG D” Norris; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Teresa Roberts; stepson, Devin Lunn; brothers, Sam White, and David Shaffer.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday February 23, 2023, from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday February 23, 2023, at 4:30 PM with Pastor Brian Dutiel officiating services. Per Jeff’s wishes, a dignified cremation will follow services.
