Jeannette "Net" M. Aber

Jeannette Marie (Mason) Aber, aged 76, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday November 3, 2024.

Jeannette, lovingly known as “Net”, was a beloved mother, wife, friend to many and will be deeply missed. The loss of Jeannette leaves a void that will never be filled, as she was the life of the party and could bring a smile and laughter on even the darkest days. She enjoyed making people laugh, yard sales, road trips, the beach, gambling at the casino, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Net was born in Zanesville Ohio on August 3, 1948, to the late Harold R. and Lela J. (Barnhouse) Mason. She is survived by her loving husband, George J. Aber Sr.; her three children, Kenneth D. Troutt, Bekki L. (Zach) Wintgens and Harley D. (Cheyenne) Aber; her two stepsons George (John) Aber Jr. and Steven (Angel) Aber; sister Vonda Patterson; brothers Richard (Marilyn) Mason and Patrick Mason Sr.; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and best friend Linda Dalton.

In addition to her parents, Net is preceded in death by her brothers Kenneth Mason and Jeffrey Mason and sisters Becky Fitch and Judy Appleman.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday November 6, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM & 6:00 – 8:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday November 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. A burial will be held at a later date.
