Janet E Henson

Janet E. Henson, 83 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, at the Altercare of Zanesville nursing home.

She was born on June 24, 1941, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Henry Homman and Cleo Homman. Janet was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church for many years. She worked at Century National Bank, where she retired. She enjoyed going to church and loved spending time with her granddaughter and great-grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her 2 children: Jeff Henson, Casey Henson; granddaughter, Erin Henson; great-grandchildren, London Henson, Kyson Barnett, Kylo Barnett; brother, Paul Homman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Richard “Dick” Henson; sisters, Vonda Arnold, Wilma Buker, and Patty McGinnis.

Per Janet’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A dignified cremation will take place.
