James “Jimmy” Robison Jr., 66 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on June 14, 2025, at the Morrison House in Zanesville.
He was born on May 7, 1959, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late James “Addie” Robison Sr. and Margaret (Newell) Robison. Jimmy graduated from Maysville High School in 1977. He then moved to Colorado Springs for many years, where he worked for Mueller Ranch State Park and Eleven Mile State Park. He later moved back to Zanesville and worked at the Office Depot Supplies, where he retired. Jimmy enjoyed gardening, canning, watching his TV, and hunting.
He is survived by his son, James “J.R.” Robison III; 2 grandchildren: Barrett Easton Robison and Lennox James Robison; brothers, Daniel (Sue) Robison, Dale (Lisa) Robison; sister, Janice (Danny) Gee; 2 aunts; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday June 19, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will conclude services at Bethel Cemetery in Norwich, Ohio.
