Irvin Edward McCormick Jr.

Irvin Edward McCormick Jr., 68 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 24, 2025, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

He was born on August 26, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Irvin E. McCormick Sr. and Phyllis Irene (Benedict) McCormick. Irvin was a veteran of the United States Navy. He later became a truck driver, working several years for himself and for Englefield Inc, where he retired. In his spare time, Irvin loved spending his time with his wife and riding his Harley any chance he could get.

Irvin is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sandra (Schweitzer) McCormick; son, Aaron McCormick; 2 stepsons, Christopher and Steven Green; grandchildren, Wyatt Greene and Lucas Greene; niece, Leah Ogilbee; great nieces, Alaina and Alyisa; great nephew, Wesley; many other friends and family members.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his nephew, Wesley Ogilbee; and brother-in-law, Clyde Ogilbee.
