Genevieve "Jenny" Stotts

Genevieve “Jenny” Stotts, 86 of Zanesville, passed away on June 25, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on August 20, 1937, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Offie Lloyd and Mary (Garber) Lloyd. Jenny was a first-class graduate of Zanesville High School in 1955. She worked at United Tech/Lear for 30 years, where she retired. In her spare time, she was an Auxiliary member for the Washington Township Fire Dept. for over 10 years. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her lawn. Above all, she loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Bob) Drake; son, Edward “Ed” (Jenn) Stotts; grandchildren, Robbie (Kacey), Brian, Adam (Ashley), Jessica (Shane) Taylor (Matt) Emily (Cody) Myla, Gunner, Tuff; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Carter, Addlie, Taylor, Tracer, Chloe, Camden; special friend, Maria; grand dog, Gracie Lou; sisters-in-laws, Martha Lloyd and Lorretta Lloyd; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Garland Stotts; brothers, Bernard Lloyd, Robert Lloyd, Charles Lloyd, James W. Lloyd; sisters, Annabelle Schloser, 2 others; and special friend, Ellen Taylor.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday June 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held on Friday June 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in New Concord, Ohio.
