Gelia “Jill” Gladman, 88 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on March 4, 1937, in Calhoun, West Virginia, daughter of the late John Cottrell and Stella Ann Cottrill. Gill was a Baptist by faith. She loved gardening and planting her flowers.
Gelia is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald “Jack” William Gladman; brothers, Leo Cottrell, Roy Cottrell, Ottice Cottrell, George Cottrell, Oran “Duffy” Cottrell; sisters, Alma Frazier, Viola Helmic, Edith Price, Letha Dunlap, and Virginia Cottrell.
Calling hours will be held on Monday March 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong- Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Burial will conclude services at St. Paul Cemetery.
