Evelyn "Evie" Dawn Holdcroft

Evelyn “Evie” Dawn Holdcroft, 7, of Zanesville, passed away on May 8, 2026, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born on October 16, 2018, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Amanda Holdcroft and Shawn Hupp. Evie was an unexpected joy in her family’s life, that brought nothing but pleasure and pure happiness. 

Evie is survived by her loving and caring grandmother, Ruth Seevers, who raised her; brother, Bradien Hupp; special uncle, Justin Holdcroft; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and friends.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her Poppy, Roger Seevers; great grandparents, Roland and Patsy Maxwell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses. 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 4:00 PM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating.

A dignified cremation will take place following services.
