Elmer E Brown

Elmer E. Brown, 66 of Zanesville, passed away on Tuesday August 20, 2024, at Genesis Hospital.

He was born on August 8, 1958, in Newark, Ohio, son of the late Ernest David Brown Sr. and Martha (Yost) Brown. Elmer was a graduate of Newark High School. He was an over the road truck driver for 19 years, before retiring. In his spare time, he enjoyed building wood crafts and doing woodwork. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his loved ones.

Elmer is survived by his 4 children: Shawn (Cheyenne Renick) Brown, Steven Brown, Shyla (Kenneth Mayle) Brown, Stephanie (Michael Holland) Brown; brothers, Robert Brown, Earl Brown; sister, Hulda Shults; 2 grandchildren: Andrew and Cameron; 1 grandson on the way; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 36  years, Sandra (Faulkner) Brown; brothers, Ernest Brown Jr., James Brown, Merle Brown; and sister, Barbara Simpson.

Per Elmer’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time.
