Donald Eugene Shaver

Donald Eugene Shaver, 97 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at the Morrison House on April 12, 2021.

He was born December 1, 1923, son of the late Hillis James Shaver and Annie Melita Scott. Eugene was a founding member of the Maranatha Bible Church, was a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute in 1955, and was a retiree of Buckeye Supply.

He is survived by his children, Philip (Mary) Shaver of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Twila (Greg) Skolfield of Tipp City, Ohio, Anita (Greg) Fitzer of Zanesville, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, H. Dorcas Shaver, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held from 10:00- 11:00 AM on Thursday April 15, 2021 at the Maranatha Bible Church located at 2400 Chandlersville Rd in Zanesville, where services will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
