David E. Saylor

David E. Saylor, 57 of Zanesville, passed away at home on Friday November 18, 2022.

He was born on March 21, 1965, in Warren, Ohio, son of the late Edward Saylor and Edna (Smith) Fritz; and late Howard Fritz of Vienna, Ohio. In his spare time, he liked to watch his Pittsburgh Steelers, Michigan Wolverines, and Pittsburgh Penguins.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life for 15 years, Becky Saylor; mother, Edna (Smith) Fritz; son, Frankie Scalise-Saylor of Steubenville, Ohio; step-son, Brad (Erica) Gillogly of Zanesville; sister-in-laws, Karen (Darrell) McGrew of Gratiot, Joyce (John) Winkle of Newark; brother-in-law, Brian Brown of Gratiot; nephew-in-law, Josh Gillogly of Gratiot; along with several cousins; 2 grandkids; and 3-step-grandsons.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepdad, Howard Fritz; mother-in-law, Rosemarie Smith; sister-in-law, Janice Conley; and several aunts and uncles.

No calling hours or services will be held at this time. A dignified cremation will take place. DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home is assisting the Saylor family with arrangements at this time.
