Dale L. Jenkins

Dale L. Jenkins, 91 of Philo, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on March 6, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on May 27, 1931, in Zanesville, Ohio son of the late Albert Jenkins and Mamie Hern. Dale was a member of the Duncan Falls Baptist Church and a member of the Eagles #302. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to play Euchre.  

He is survived by his daughters, Karen (Mike) Snyder, Carole (John) Miller, Sherry Jenkins; grandchildren, Angie, Robby, Billy, Donna, Julie, Dale, Justin, Kaylee; several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren;  daughter-in-law, Rhonda Jenkins; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth (Jones) Jenkins; sons, William Jenkins, Robert Jenkins; grandson, Rusty Mick; brothers, Winston Romine, Talford Romine, Curtis Martin; sisters, Ida Martin, and Berniece Benjamin.

Calling hours will be held on Friday March 10, 2023, from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday March 10, 2023, at 3:30 PM with Pastor Gerry Wade officiating. Burial will follow services at Duncan Falls Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Genesis Hospice in honor of Dale.
