Cory Joe Grimes

Cory Joe Grimes, 43, of Zanesville, passed away August 6, 2018 as a result of injuries from an automobile accident.

He was born January 26, 1975 in Zanesville, son of Anna Grandstaff Coles and the late, Anthony L. Coles.  He was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather and friend.  He loved working as a semi driver hauling cars.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his children, Justin (Kristin) Kimble, Dalan Grimes, Gabrielle Grimes; friend, Michelle Turner;  and her children, Alexis Turner, Kylie Gray, Skylar Turner; siblings, Kevin  Grimes, LeAnn Grimes, Felicia (Michael) Coles-Marshall; several grandchildren; best friends, Randy Sampson and Dale Jones; extended family and friends.

In addition to his step-father he was preceded in death by his wife, Dusty Hopper-Grimes.  

Calling hours will be held 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place 8:00 p.m.  A dignified cremation will follow the service.
