Clyde O. Parks, 90 of Zanesville, peacefully went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2022.
He was born on March 1, 1932, in Blissfield, Ohio, son of the late Ralph Parks and Bernice (Mullett) Parks. Clyde worked at Columbia Cement for many years. He was a carpenter, helping build Burr Oak Lodge. He later worked as a coal miner and retired from AEP Conesville Scrub Plant. Clyde served as a Cemetery Trustee for Fultonham Cemetery. He was a member of the East Fultonham Methodist church and the Muskingum Lodge #368 of Fultonham.
He is survived by his daughter, Deb (Charles) Leasure; son, Doug (Diana Butler) Parks; grandchildren, Josh Leasure, JD Leasure, Danielle Parks, Johnathan Raub; great-grandchildren, Nate Leasure, Arlie Leasure, Masyn Leasure, Laura Leasure, Darin Leasure, Grant Rucker-Leasure, Reece Rucker-Leasure; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and special neighbors, Mark and Ronda Daniels.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Paula (Maxwell) Parks; brother, Emil (Jean) Parks; sisters, Doris (Jack) Myers, Mildred (Lou) Thomas.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2023, from 1:00-3:00 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Masonic services will be held Wednesday January 4, 2023, at 10:45 AM by the Muskingum Lodge #368. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Kahler officiating. Burial will follow services at Fultonham Cemetery.
