Christine L. Axline, 64 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 5, 2022, at Genesis Hospital.
She was born on July 14, 1958, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles Watkins and Vera (Fields) Watkins. She worked in retail for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed coloring, online bingo, talking on the phone with her friends, and gardening. She was always known to be “one hell of a fighter”.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jan Axline; children, Christina (Shane) Israel, Chadrick (Tanya) Pitts, Travis Axline, Joshua Axline; brothers, Ted Watkins, Dixon Lee. Watkins; grandchildren, Brian, Dylan, Tanner, Terrence, Emma, Braxtin, Audrina, Brandon, Brigitt, Daitan, Daya; great-grandchildren, Damian, Desmond, Teghan, Rider, Addylin, Sophie; special friends, Sherry Johnson, Carol Nichols; nieces, Miranda Watkins; nephews, Kenny Watkins, Jeff Watkins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael W. Watkins; grandchild, Dakota; and special friend, Margie Tucker.
Per Christine’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A dignified cremation will take place.
