Cheryl L. (Clift) Dreier, 82 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024, at the Adams Lane Care Center Nursing Home of Zanesville.
She was born on April 9, 1942, in Coshocton, Ohio, daughter of the late James “J.B.” Clift and LaVaughn “Vonnie” (Hoffman) Clift. Cheryl was a graduate of Coshocton High School in 1960. She later received her bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. Cheryl and her brother, Phillip, owned and operated Hayes Jewelry Store in Coshocton for many years. She later partnered with her son, Steve, at CSD Real Estate and Dreier Sheet Metal. Cheryl was a volunteer at Genesis Hospital and operated on the fundraising committee for several years. In her spare time, she loved baking and watching Ohio State football and basketball. Above all, she loved spending her time with her loved ones and watching her children and grandchildren play sports.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Dreier, Brian (Jennifer) Dreier; grandchildren, Brittany Dreier, Garrison Dreier, Sutton Dreier; great-grandchild, Rylee Dreier; The Fisher Family; best friend, Janet; special dogs, Sophie and Sailor; and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Warren Dreier; and brother, Phillip Clift.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday April 28, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow services at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
