Charles William Rummer

Charles “Bill” William Rummer, 72 of Zanesville, passed away July 1, 2021 at his residence.

He was born January 23, 1949 in Zanesville, son of the late William E. Rummer and Alice Mae Burchett Rummer.  He was a member of the Eagles, American Legion, VFW, Grotto and Masonic Lodge.  He retired as a truck driver after several years of service.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn JoAnn Wisecarver Rummer; sons, William Edward Rummer, Michael Allan (Rose) Rummer; brothers-in-law, Sherman Wisecarver, Timothy Wisecarver, Ernie Wisecarver; sisters-in-law, Sandra K Perdue, Sue Ellen Mercer, Shirley Fisher; grandchildren, Heather (Joseph) Work, Scarlett Rummer, Sky Rummer; great-grandchildren, Carson Yost, Carlee Yost.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Doris Brown.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday July 5, 2021 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 7:00 PM.  Cremation will follow services.
