Obituary
Carolyn J. Williams, 75 of Zanesville, walked into heaven Monday January 23, 2023, at O’Bleness Hospital of Athens, Ohio. She was a loving sister, friend, and aunt. She will be forever missed.
She was born on July 3, 1947, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Ernest Williams and Peggy (Johns) Williams. Carolyn was a resident of the Harner House and Echoing Hills Village in Athens for many years. She attended a day hab program at Echoing Connections in Athens and participated in the Athens Passion Works with her many flower designs, which she loved making.
She is survived by her sister, Marty (Don) Henthorne; several nieces and nephews; and many friends she considered family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Williams and Peggy (Johns) Williams; brothers, Richard D. Williams and Jerry Williams.
Her family sends their sincere love and appreciation to the many caregivers, nurses, and friends who helped to make her life happy, joyous, loving, and full of fun.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday January 26, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating.
