Brandie Ruth Rutledge

Brandie Ruth Garrett-Rutledge, 69 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on February 16, 2023, at Altercare of Zanesville.

She was born on September 28, 1953, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late James Robert Garrett and Mary Elizabeth (Ruby) Garrett. She was Methodist by faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, listening to the Bee Gees and her country music. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Robert Garrett, Heather (Donte) Leasure, Jerry Heistand Jr., Nicole Hague; brother, James (Sherie) Garrett Jr.; sister, Deborah (Edwin) Templin; grandchildren, Savannah Garrett, Kerstin Leasure, David Leasure, Drew Hague, Drake Hague, Ember Heistand; great-grandchildren, Jayden Leasure, Hazley Moody; special niece, SeAnne Foster; stepchildren, Nick Rutledge, Bart Rutledge, Darcy Rutledge; and special cat, Jinx.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her husband of 30 plus years, Ronald Rutldge; brothers, Robert Lee Garrett, Samuel Joseph Garrett, and Thomas Raymond Garrett.
