Betty Reed Obituary

Betty Jane Reed, 81 of Zanesville, passed away April 26, 2021 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born November 29, 1939 in Springfield, OH, daughter of the late, Carl Sparrow and Thelma Green Sparrow.

She is survived by her children, John (Kathy) Russell, Paul Russell Jr., Eugene Russell, Teresa Reed, Danny “Bo” Reed, and Christy (Benny) Smith; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Reed; daughter Debbie (Archie) Rose; two brothers.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Friday April 30, 2021 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 4:00 PM. A cremation will take place following the services.
