Angelina M. Velez

Angelina M. Velez, 55 of Zanesville, passed away on October 22, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on January 13, 1969, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of Homer Sharp and Charlotte Ann Snode. Angelina attended Hancock High School. She loved animals, especially her pets; and she loved shopping. Above all, she loved her family.

Angelina is survived by her fiancé, Harold Hedges; son, Jason Velez; sisters, Christina Marple, Teresa (Tom) Lichtner, Joedy (Tom) Pilch; 3 grandchildren; nieces, Hallie Pilch, Lexi (Sean) Fitzgerald, Marcie (Mike) Rice, Taisha (Shane) Lichtner, Tisha (Ryan) Couch, Teasha Lichtner; nephews, Cody Pilch, Tommy (Jenn) Lichtner, Scott Calendine, Sean (Heidi Calendine; several great nieces and nephews; several cousins and friends; special dog, Koda; special cats, Chinky and Yellow Bird.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer Sharp and Charlotte Ann (Snode) Sharp.

Private graveside services will take place. Angelina will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Zanesville.
