Samuel M.“Bud” Bailey

Samuel M.“Bud” Bailey, 68, of Zanesville, passed away September 7, 2017 at his residence.

He was born June 28, 1949 in Union, WV, son of the late, Samuel G. Bailey and Anna R. White Bailey.  He was a veteran in the United States Army.  He was a member of VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.  He attended Sharon Ave. Free Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, whom he married September 26, 1970, Cindy Lacey Bailey; children, Sam (Robin) Bailey Jr., Tammy (Mike) Siegenthal; sisters, Anna Sue (Kenny) Scoles, Judy (Jeff) Miller, Debbie (Roger) Petitt; grandchildren, Brett M. Bailey, Brittany Bailey, Dekota Hildabrand; bother-in-law, Dave Lacey; dog, Cory.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny G. Bailey and Jeffrey A. Bailey.

Calling hours will held 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the United States Army, VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
