He was born February 11, 1956 in Delbarton, West Virginia, son of the late, Jess Compton and Mary Blankenship Compton.
He is survived by his children, Jess Compton, Ronald G. Compton, William L. Compton, Tyler Compton, Anna (Gerardo) Jimenez; nieces and nephews, Teresa Brown, Amanda Brown, Bryan Keaton; grandchildren, Katelynn Compton, Savannah Compton, Anthony Jimenez, Faith Compton and Ava Jimenez; great-great-niece, Anna Mae Keaton; great-great-nephew, Brayden Lee Carney.
No calling hours will be observed a memorial service will be held at a later date.
