Ralph Leland Stotts, 87 of Zanesville, passed away November 14, 2017 at Genesis Morrison House.
He was born April 7, 1930 in Zanesville, son of the late, Frank Stotts and Ethel May Hittle Stotts. He was a member of the Washington Township Baptist Church and veteran in the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a truck driver, farmer and loving, devoted, father and husband.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Isabelle Wilson Stotts; children, Sandy Starrett of Blue Rock, Darlene Stotts of Zanesville, Wallace R. Stotts of Philo, Stephen A. (Sherry) Stotts of Zanesville, Nathan E. Stotts of Zanesville; brothers, Merlin Stotts of Zanesville; sisters, Eloise Shriver, Shirley (Eddie) Sipos; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at Washington Township Baptist Church, 5500 Church Hill Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701, with Pastor Chris Riggs officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Township Baptist Church Cemetery with full Military honors conducted by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
