Peggy Marie (Burns) Garber

Peggy Marie Garber, 63, of Nashport, passed away May 8, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital, Newark, OH.

She was born December 15, 1953 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, William “Bill” Burns and Jean Marie Hunter Burns.

Peggy was a LPN at Good Samaritan Hospital; she served her community as a nurse for over twenty-nine years and was a graduate of Maysville High School and MATC.

She is survived by her son, Kody Mullens; sister, Diana Burns Russell; four nieces; one nephew; many friends.

Calling hours will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will take place at 7:00 p.m.  A dignified cremation will take place following the service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help pay for funeral expenses.
