Michael G. Pitts, 60 of Zanesville, passed away June 11, 2019 at Genesis Health Care.

He was born November 23, 1958 in Zanesville son of the late George and Elsie Pitts.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Pitts and Eric Pitts-Shimer; his significant other, Amy Shimer; brothers, Dennis Pitts, Harold Pitts, Joe Poppinger, Wesley Pitrman; sisters, Patty Poppinger, Barb Poppinger, Nancy Shumate, Priscilla Bell; grandchildren, Kristiana Pitts, Bentlee Croy; special friend, Barbara Pitts; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant daughter; brother Earl Pitts.

A private family service will take place.
