Mary Irene (Atkins) Romine

Mary Irene Romine, 71, of Roseville, passed away July 12, 2018 at Genesis Morrison House surrounded by family.

She was born April 1, 1947 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Frederick Eugene Atkins and Mary Alexander-Hunter.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth McFee of Zanesville; daughters, Lisa (Joe) Hanby of Hebron, Gloria Hanby of Zanesville, Jennie (Steve) Shirkey of Glenford; beloved boyfriend, Ernest Shirkey; brother, Kenny (Mary) Atkins of Zanesville sister, Pam (Larry) Hopkins of Marietta; step-sisters, Charlotte (Charlie) Tilton of Zanesville; special friend, Helen Shirkey; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Romine; step-mother, Mary Atkins; sister, Betty Shirkey; step-sister, Sandy Lorey; son-in-law, Billy Hanby; grandsons, Adin Meighen, Christopher McFee Jr..

Calling hours will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday July 17, 2018 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 18, 2018. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
