Mary Belle (Hoskinson) Gaffey

Mary Belle Gaffey, 100, of Zanesville, passed away April 1, 2018 at Alter Care Nursing Home.

She was born September 7, 1917 in Junction City, OH, daughter of the late, John Hoskinson and Margaret Smith Hoskinson.  She retired from Essex Wire and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Fred “Richard” Hoskinson; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gaffey; brothers, Dorman, Jack, Dale, Kenneth, James, Paul Hoskinson; sisters Gladys Kuhn and Gertrude McCabe; step-grandson, Tim Gaffey.

Calling hours will be held 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Karen Osborn officiating.  Burial will follow at Crooksville Cemetery.
