Martisa Brieanne Palmer

Martisa Brieanne Palmer, 21 of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord, December 31, 2018.

She was born November 15, 1997 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of Alanzo Palmer and Brigette Palmer-Ogunniran (Yomi).  She was a graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High School and a member of the Power of Prayer Church.  She worked providing direct service for REM.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister Nina and brother, Alanzo “AJAY” Palmer, Jr., nephew, Dashare Speights and nieces, Zendaya Speights and Olanike Raji.  Brothers, Andre Ware, Devon Palmer, Adrian Ware.   Sisters, Andrea Ware, Ashley Ware, Amber Palmer, Marquita Robinson; grandmother Joann Palmer; uncles, Oscar (Grace) Speight, Nathaniel (Grace) Speights, Richard Speights, George Speights, Joseph (Ashley) Speights and Conrad Palmer; aunts, Renee (Vincent) Dews, Mary Speights, Colette Jones, Sylvia  Jackson, Linda Berhane, Kathy (Olawale) Okeyinka, Jan Martin, Jodi Sealey, Dawn Ray Speights and Kathy Palmer; a host of cousins, family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nathaniel and Ollie Speights; grandfather, Conrad Palmer Sr.; uncles Raymond Speights and Daniel Speights.

Calling hours will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home.  Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Power of Prayer Church, 2155 Curtis Street, Columbus, Ohio  43207.   Graveside services will follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Westerville, OH at 1:30 PM.
