Leona Louise (Hayes) Zaverl

Leona Louise Zaverl, 76, of Zanesville, passed away December 13, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born in Zanesville, November 7, 1942 to the late, Hugh Hayes and Garnet Caplinger Hayes-McGee.  She was Pentecostal by faith and retired from United Technologies after 24 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa (Victor) Mayle; grandchildren, Chastidy Wood and Aaron (Fallon) Mayle; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Smith, Hailey Smith, Keri Mayle, Tanner Graves, Jaci Mayle, Giovanni Wood, Lucca Wood, Bentley Mayle, Denali Mayle, Cain Wood, JaCion Harris and Remington Mayle; special friend Benny Smith Jr.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Maureen Graves; sister Patricia Harper; father of her children William Graves.

Calling hours will be held Monday, December 17, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
