Kathy Sue (Newell) McHenry Hardesty

Kathy Sue McHenry Hardesty, 59, of Coshocton passed away August 10, 2019 at Genesis Healthcare.

She was born May 25, 1960 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Theodore Newell and Helen Sickles McFee.  Kathy formerly worked as a manager for Tractor Supply Store in Coshocton, OH.  She was a member of Wild Wood Church of Christ. She also enjoyed going to the Eagles and Moose.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her husband Jeffrey L. Hardesty; son Desi (Jennifer) McHenry; step-sons, Dane Hardesty, Kyle Hardesty; brothers, Robert (Donna) McFee, David (Penny) McFee, Teddy Newell, William (Ella) Newell; sisters, Donna (Derlys) Batista, Ruth Britt, Frances Deeds; grandchildren, Chase McHenry, Alexa McHenry, Brody Hardesty, Cyrys Hardesty, Dravyn Hardesty, JLynn Hardesty, Nicole Kellish; great-grandchildren, Emmett McHenry, Jocelynn McHenry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, James McHenry, Jerry Allen McHenry; siblings, Betty Tilton, Kenneth McFee.

Calling hours will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday August 13, 2019 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place 7:00 PM with Pastor Joe McFee officiating.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.
