Jean Frances Eppley, 93, of Zanesville, passed away April 26, 2018 at her residence.
She was born March 6, 1925 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Charles Schneider and Phoebe Mercer Schneider. She was a founding member of the First Assembly of God in Zanesville, which started in her father’s home when she was 16 yrs. old. She was an organist, pianist and helped with church nursery for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Stanley Paul Eppley of Zanesville, Charles Daniel Eppley of Zanesville; daughter, Carol (Rick) Miller of Zanesville; sister, Vivan Eppley; brother, Charles (Millie) Schneider; grandchildren, Kimberly Miller, Rick Lee Miller of Zanesville, Taci Stewart, Chad Doner of PA, William R. Eppley of Lancaster, OH; several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” A. Eppley; son, William Dale Eppley; sisters, Ruth Merkle, Virginia Schneider, Dorothy Schneider.
Calling hours will be held 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 3:00 p.m. Private burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
