James Samuel McHenry Jr.

James Samuel McHenry Jr., 60, of Philo, passed away August 21, 2018 at Genesis Morrison House surrounded by family.

He was born November 9, 1957 in Zanesville, son of the late James S. McHenry Sr. and Lou McGrath McHenry.  James worked for Sidwell Materials Inc., and was a veteran in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife, Tina White McHenry; sons, Desi (Jennifer) McHenry, Joshua (Adrian) Kaminski; brothers, Jeff (Joanie) McHenry, Jerry McHenry, Jay McHenry; sisters, Jackie (Michael) Bosack, Janet (Gary) Joseph; mother-in-law, Melody White; brother-in-law, Jay (Brenda) White; grandchildren, Chase, Alexa and Emmit James McHenry, Joshua Michael Kaminski; many nieces and nephews.  

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sons, Jimmy and Jerry McHenry.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday August 24, 2018 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 25, 2018.  Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park with full Military honors conducted by the United States Marine Corps. in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
