Harriett (Howard) Dyrenforth

Harriett Howard Dyrenforth, 103, passed away on May 30, 2017,at the Evergreen Ridge Rd Retirement in Cincinnati, Oh.  She was born October 28, 1913, in McConnelsville to James K and Hazel McGregor Howard.  She was a registered nurse and had worked at St Luke's Hospital and General Electric in Cleveland, Oh, prior to retiring to raise her family.

She met and married Robert C. Dyrenforth in 1939 and spent the last 20 years of their marriage caring for her husband who passed away in 1992.  Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Graham, a brother, Robert Howard, and a niece, Mary Graham Booth.

She is survived by two sons, Robert H (Sue) Dyrenforth of Cincinnati, Oh, and John C (Kathie) Dyrenforth of Chocorua, New Hampshire, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a sister, Jo Ann Wainwright, four nieces and three nephews.

After a caring cremation, burial will be in McConnelsville cemetery on July 22 where a graveside service will be held at 11:30 am.
