Gary Eugene Joseph Sr., 75 of Zanesville, passed away October 1, 2019 at his residence.

He was born April 29, 1944 in Zanesville, son of the late, Cyrus Joseph and Geraldine Goldsmith Joseph. Gary was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, member of American Legion Post 29.

He is survived by his children, Gary (Janet) Joseph Jr., Kim York, Matthew (Lori) Joseph, Molly (Mike) Wheeler; sisters, Diane (Mike) Gill, Darlene (J.D.) Hindel; grandchildren, Jeremy, Macey, Mason, Justin, Zack, Hawk and Pavin and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Tomson Joseph.

Graveside services will take place 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
