Eva Hastings-Murphy Obituary

Eva Jean Hastings-Murphy, 65, of Zanesville, passed away August 18, 2018 at Genesis Hospital.

She was born June 26, 1953 in Uhrichsville, OH, daughter of the late, William Murphy and June DeVore Farquhar.

She is survived by her daughters, Emily (Harry Weaver) Hastings, Nancy Hastings; son, Jim Hastings Jr.; siblings, Howard Murphy, Roger Farquhar, Timothy Farquhar, Robert Farquhar, Steven Farquhar, William Murphy, Todd Farquhar, Terri Smith, Bonnie Murphy, Fred Devore, Becky Riechman; grandchildren, Warren (Amber) Lowry, Catherine (Sean) Horsley, Laci (Jordan) Cannon, Izzy Hastings; five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hastings Sr.; sister, Karen Farquhar; grandson, Richard Lowry; step-father, Alfred Dale Farquhar.

A celebration of life service will take place for Jim Hastings Sr. and Eva Jean Hastings-Murphy later in October 2018 at the Adamsville United Methodist Church. A dignified cremation will take place.
