Eleanor E. Joseph-Kerby

Eleanor E. Joseph-Kerby, 63 of Zanesville, passed away November 30, 2019 at Genesis Morrison House.

She was born December 21, 1955 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Louis Joseph Sr. and Phyllis McDonald Stevens.  She worked at Essex Wire for twenty years and then as a nurses aid/ housekeeper at Zandex.  She was a member of F.O.E. 302 and an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan.

She is survived by her children, Trina Wood, Shawn Kerby; siblings, Louie (Deb) Joseph, Peg (Jack) Kinder, Coleen May, Kevin (Nancy) Turner, Vickie (Eric) Paul; grandchildren, Tyler Wood, Shaunice Wood, Kaiden Kerby, Keyan Harris; in-laws, Chris (Kristi) Kerby, Susan Wagner, Rosemary Kerby; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Shawn Kerby; grandmother Eleanor McDonald; brothers, Rusty Joseph and John David Joseph; beloved nephew Jarrett Head.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where a memorial service will begin at 6:00 PM with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating.
