Edgar “Ed” Cohen

Edgar “Ed” Cohen, 81 of Zanesville, went on his final train ride October 23, 2019 at Genesis Healthcare.

He was born March 2, 1938 in Zanesville, son of the late Philip Cohen and Miriam Seevers Cohen.  Ed loved cars, trains and his family.

He is survived by his wife Drema Palone Cohen; children, Edgar (Nancy) Cohen Jr., Celeste Warne, Philip Cohen Sr.,Jeffrey Cohen, Jennifer (Ryan) Cohen Herb, Brian Cohen; sister Nancy Fawcett; grandchildren, Angelica, Keeley, Shayla, Philip Jr., Jacob, Jessica, Ryan, Haven; several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald Cohen and Betty Lou Cohen.

Calling hours will be held 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, October 25, 2019 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 2:00 PM.  Per Ed’s wishes a cremation will follow services.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
