Dorothy Ann (Bagley) McWhorter

Dorothy Ann McWhorter, 75, of Zanesville, passed away March 19, 2018.

She was born July 8, 1942 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Orville Bagley and Laura Hina Bagley.  She loved her family, playing bingo and was a devoted Christian.

She is survived by her children,Oscar (Dannette) McWhorter, Terry Nina) Schell, Willie McWhorter; daughters, Christina (Butch) Kirk, Dorothy (James) Tolbert, Laura (Tim) McWhorter; brothers, Russell (Mable) Bagley, Howard (Sandy) Bagley, Clifford (Norma) Bagley, Kenny Bagley; sisters, Vannila (Gary) Tracy, Laura “Sis” (Albert) Wisecarver, Kathrine (Jerry) Leonard; grandchildren, Josh, Edward, James, William, John, Michael, Jeffery, Willie, Mack, Landon, Anthony, Travis, Ethan, Isaac, Hunter, Aiden, Terry, Debbie, Christa, Trisha, Dannessa, Jamie, Tori, Megan, Cassandra, Jacklyn, Brittany, Kristina, Onika and Adriana; several great-grandchildren; special friends, Jacob, Joshua, Anthony and Okey.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. McWhorter; son, John McWhorter, brothers, Raymond Bagley, Junior Bagley, Robert Chester Bagley; sister, Goldie Paxton; granddaughter, Barbara McWhorter and Christina Hanning.

Calling hours will be held 11:00 a.m. to1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018  at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 p.m.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.
