Clarence Buck Pletcher Jr.

Clarence F. “Buck” Pletcher Jr., 77, of Zanesville, passed away March 13, 2019 at his residence.

He was born September 28, 1941 in Zanesville, son of the late, Clarence Pletcher Sr. and Mary Search Pletcher.  He retired as a truck driver. He also worked for Rittberger and Goodwill.

He is survived by his wife whom he married September 22, 2018, Lorena McCaucey Pletcher; son Bucky Pletcher; daughters, Tammy Vanderkooi, Marla Payne, Mary Rose, Kristin (Chris) Phepls; brothers, Richard “Dickie” Platcher, Larry Pletcher, Edward “ Eddie” Pletcher; sisters, Hazel Boyer, Shirley Pletcher, Brenda Pletcher; grandchildren, Carol Vanderkooi, Tequila Pletcher, Julie Pletcher, Gage Pletcher, Lelila Kennedy and Daltin Phelps.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Skinny, David Jr., Paul and Mickey.

Calling hours will be held 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2019 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.
