Betty L (Galigher) Harper

Betty L. Harper, 76, of Zanesville, passed away August 26, 2017 at Genesis Hospital.

She was born March 28, 1941 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Arville Galigher and Iva Sickles Galigher.  Betty loved cooking and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Jerry L. (Jonda) Harper Jr. of Zanesville, Tammi (James) Snodgrass of Zanesville, Michael A. Harper of Zanesville; grandchildren, Jamie Snodgrass, Joey Snodgrass, Justie Snodgrass, Dallas Griffiths, Shay (David Meyers) Snodgrass, Shantae Snodgrass, Erica Harper, Jerrica Harper, Jerry Harper III, great-grandchildren, Alexander Snodgrass, Gracelynn McConnell and seven others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. Harper Sr.; daughter, Lea Ann (George) Snodgrass; daughter-in-law, Michelle Harper; and several brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be held 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral, where services will take place at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Caw officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
