Amanda Eileen (Moore) Young

Amanda Eileen Young, 96, of Zanesville, passed away December 3, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by family.

She was born March 4, 1921 in Sprat, OH, daughter of the late, Ivan Moore and Mary Tom Moore.  She was a member of Rix Mills Presbyterian Church.  She was a loving mother and friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Young; brother-in-law, Edward Young; special niece, Kay Blaney; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Young; sisters, Dorothy Ferguson and Faye Johnson.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017.  Burial will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
