Jeremy Ryan Wood

Jeremy “Jay” Ryan Wood, 37 of Zanesville, passed away on March 24, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on March 25, 1986, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of William Wood and Lori (Wilson) Kennedy. Jay worked as an Apprentice through IBEW and carried his CDL’s. He loved the outdoors, boating, fishing, music, and cruising around. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his cars. Above all, he loved spending time with his son, Jace, and his loved ones.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Jace Ryan Wood; sister, Trina Wood; brothers, Corey W. Wood, Dustin (Tess Tate) Wood, Wyatt Cupoli; mother of his child, Julie Glass; niece, Shaunice Wood; nephews, Tyler Wood, Keyan Harris, Corey Wood Jr., Giovanni Wood, Lucca Wood, Cain Wood; aunts, Shirley Kirkbride, Shelby Roberts; and several cousins, family, friends, and co-workers.  

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Calling hours will be held on March 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mike McGuire officiating. Following services, a caring cremation will be held through DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home.
