Phillip K. (Phil) Baughman, 76, of Zanesville, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1937 in Zanesville, the son of the late Ora and Elizabeth Coon Baughman.

Phil was formerly employed by McGraw Edison, Commercial Motor Freight and retired from Yellow Freight following thirty five years of employment.  He was past district chairman and past president and trustee for the Zanesville Eagles Aerie Lodge #302, social member of VFW post 1058, Sons of the American Legion post 29, Amrou Grotto, Masonic Lodge Lafayette F & AM #79, 32nd degree mason, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge and Truck Drivers Union Local #637.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Shirley LaFollette Baughman, sons, Phil and Ted, daughters, Terri, Vickie, Angie, Tammy, and Melody, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and special step great granddaughter Rylee

Friends may call 4- 8 pm Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Fraternal Order of Eagles will conduct services at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Shirley,many years ago I met a couple that fed me coffee ,more than that they showed me how a married couple could be so happy ,,remember he will still always be the wind beneath your wings

Shirley I couldn't open that paper so I thought of this,,I just want you to remember you will alway be in my thoughts and prayers ..I bet Phil and Lou are out on the fairway hitting that little white ball and having a ball,,and no more pain..hang in there girl and I am here if you need me..
