Vivian Lois (Smith) Gentile

Vivian Lois Gentile, 91, of Zanesville, passed away July 15, 2017 at Beckett House Nursing Home.

She was born March 6, 1926 in Polo, Illinois; daughter of the late, Walter Smith and Ruth Jones Smith.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Terry) Norton, Vonda (Wayne) Allmon, Terry (Marlene) Gentile, Patty (Keith) Van Horn; step-son, Patrick Gentile; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Gentile; brothers, Kenneth Smith, Melvin Smith; sisters, Wanda Farmer and Maxine Fleming.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 p.m. with Phillip Walker officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
